THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF FREEZERS THAT WE USE.

FIRST, THE MOST COMMON, MOST ECONOMICAL AND GREAT
FOR THE JOB IS THE CHEST FREEZER, AS WE SUPPLY ALL OF
OUR TRUCKS WITH ELECTRICITY VIA POWER INVERTERS THE
CHEST FREEZER WILL KEEP THE SAME TEMPERATURE ALL
DAY LONG. THE ICE CREAM NEVER MELTS AND THEY ARE
VERY CHEAP IF YOU EVER NEED TO REPLACE ONE, AVERAGE
COST IS $350. THEY LAST FOR A VERY LONG TIME.
YOU CAN KEEP THE ICE CREAM FROZEN FOR AT LEAST THREE
HOURS IF YOU DECIDE TO UNPLUG THEM( FOR EXAMPLE: YOU
ARE STATIONARY AND WANT TO TURN THE ENGINE OFF) AND
WITHIN AN HOUR THEY WILL GET BACK TO THE SAME
TEMPERATURE.

THE SECOND OPTION IS A DIPPING FREEZER, THEY BASICALLY
WORKS THE SAME AS THE CHEST FREEZER, THE
COMPRESSOR HAS TO RUN IN ORDER TO RETAIN THE
TEMPERATURE, THE ONLY ADVANTAGE THEY HAVE OVER THE
CHEST IS THAT THEY LOOK FANTASTIC BUT THE AVERAGE
COST OF A UNIT WILL BE $2600, A LOT TO PAY FOR BEAUTY.
PROBABLY THE ONLY TIME THEY REALLY ARE NEEDED IS FOR
A DIPPING TRUCK AND THAN WE WILL USE A MODEL LIKE THIS
ONE:
THE REGULAR DIPPING FREEZERS WILL LOOK LIKE THESE:
NOW WE GET TO THE COLD PLATES, THEY WILL LOOK LIKE
THE DIPPING FREEZER BUT WITH AN ALL STAINLESS STEEL
BODY. THE FREEZER IS BUILT WITH HEAVY INSULATION AND
A BIG COMPRESSOR (17AMP) THAT WILL BUMP UP YOUR
ELECTRICAL BILL.
THEY HAVE PLATES INSIDE THE WALLS THAT WILL FREEZE
OVER NIGHT, AND WILL TAKE THE TEMPERATURE DOWN TO
-18F. WHEN YOU UNPLUG THEM THEY WILL KEEP THE ICE
CREAM FROZEN WITH NO NEED FOR ELECTRICITY FOR
AROUND 8 HOURS, AFTER THAT ON A HOT DAY YOUR ICE
CREAM WILL START TO MELT AND YOU WILL NEED THE HELP
OF THE MOST HORRIBLE ELEMENT IN REFRIGERATION .......
DRY ICE!

THEY ARE GREAT IF YOU ARE OPERATING IN ONE SPOT AND
DON'T WANT TO RUN THE ENGINE OR A GENERATOR. ALSO
IF YOU NEED A LOT OF POWER FOR A CONCESSION
VEHICLE YOU CAN CUT THE  NEED FOR ELECTRICITY ON
THE FREEZERS AND STILL RUN THE REST OF THE TRUCK
WITHOUT A GENERATOR.
THEY REALLY DO LOOK GREAT!
